I was a Quality Specialist who loved to apply my natural skepticism and attention to detail to ensuring safe and high-quality products ONLY would earn my seal of approval. But loving a job and feeling valued in said job are two different things.

I was losing sleep, on edge constantly; too exhausted to do more than the necessities with my kids, and too irritated to be kind to my husband. My inner glow had dimmed and felt my personality was so damaged at that point, too. So, it was this experience that taught me it’s true that when you look good (whatever that means to you), you feel good, but that’s not always enough. Sometimes, you’ve just gotta get out of a bad situation and find better for yourself.

And it was definitely bad.

It was like something clicked for me…

Why am I doing something that makes me miserable damn-near every day, when I could just as easily…not?

What was the point of maintaining my cosmetology license if I never let it actually be the Backup Plan I always said it was?

I knew I had to finally take on the hair industry as my next challenge!Since re-starting my beauty industry journey, I’ve discovered how much I FRIGGIN’ LOVE MY JOB! Is it challenging? Yes. Is it confusing, scary, anxiety-inducing, and all around not for the faint of heart? Also, YES. But I’m so excited to come back into the frizz (that’s the saying, isn’t it?) and help you achieve the hair of your dreams!
